This year, as part of exchange programs, some 60 international students started the new academic year at the Faculty of Economics.
As for the Bachelor in Business and Applied Economics degree, it welcomes about 10 international students, mainly from Asia and Africa.
In order to welcome international students, the faculty is organising a series of events during a welcome week.
The program: dedicated information meetings, welcome breakfast, social events with the "French buddies" and teachers, visit of the campus and the city, international picnic...
Welcome breakfast for international students
This year, the highlight of the welcome week was a boat trip on the Canal Saint-Martin! Watch the video recap of this afternoon.
Around 50 international students enjoyed a one-hour boat trip on the Canal St Martin.
As part of the welcom program, the Faculty is setting up a "French buddy" system each year.
It is a sponsorship program between new international students and students from the Faculty.
The French buddy’s mission is to welcome, accompany and guide an international student, while living an enriching cultural exchange.
